AE-100: Modifying an Existing Directory Entry
After you finish modifying an existing directory entry in programming step 22, it is necessary to exit the programming mode by entering 9 9 # before the changes are written to non-volatile memory. If you simply go back to area 22 without exiting programming first, it will appear that the data has not been changed. This is a limitation of the hardware and not a bug in the program. If you exit the programming then reenter the programming mode and go to step 22, you will find that your changes have been recorded.
