Restoring the System Data
Select Setup : System Maintenance : Restore System.
The network controller maintains on-board backup copies of system data. The network controller performs daily backups at 00:15 hours. These backups are written to ROM and the compact flash on the network controller board, and to a network storage location if one is configured. See Setting the Network Storage Location, or FTP Backup Settings.
The security database can be restored from on-line backups on the network controller, or off-line backups on an FTP server or NAS location.
To restore the security database from backup:
Select Setup : System Maintenance : Restore System.
Select from the list of backups the one that you wish to restore by clicking the radio button in the Restore? column. You can select a Differential backup or a Full Backup. The system will be completely restored to its condition as of the date and time of the backup you selected.
NOTE: The Status column will tell you if a backup is on-line or off-line. If the backup is off-line the system will retrieve it and perform the restore.
Click Restore Now and the selected backup security database is restored.
