To enter programming mode press, 99 # Master Code *. The Yellow LED will be flashing slowly. If the keypad does not have a Yellow LED, then the sounder will be beeping.
If you forgot the Master Code momentarily push the button (switch) labeled SW1, located on the main keypad circuit board, to enter programming mode.
If your keypad does not have an SW1 switch and the model number is one of the following, you will need to follow the directions below for your particular keypad.
LSI
- Disconnect the battery pack
- Take note of any connections for the Orange and White wires
- Splice together the Orange and White wire
- Power up the keypad. (Should see a flashing yellow LED)
- Change the Master Code
- Disconnect the battery pack
- Return the Orange and White wires to their original connections
- Reconnect the battery pack
- You will now be able to use the new Master Code to enter programming mode
212ILM
- Power down the keypad
- Take note of any connections to the white/black wire and disconnect it if necessary
- Disconnect the red wire from the Positive side of your power supply
- Splice the white/black wire to the red wire
- Power up the keypad. (Should see a flashing yellow LED)
- Change the Master Code
- Disconnect the power to the keypad
- Return the white/black wire to its original connection if necessary
- Power up the keypad and you will now be able to use the new Master Code to enter programming mode
212IL (with 6 wire harness)
- Power down the keypad
- Take note of any connections to the white/black wire and disconnect it if necessary
- Disconnect the red wire from the Positive side of your power supply
- Splice the white/black wire to the red wire
- Power up the keypad. (Should see a flashing yellow LED)
- Change the Master Code
- Disconnect the wire to its original connection if necessary
- Power up the keypad and you will now be able to use the new Master Code to enter programming mode
212IL (with 10 wire harness):
- Power down the keypad
- Take note of any connections to the white/yellow wire, brown and white wires and disconnect them if necessary
- Splice together the white/yellow, brown and white wires
- Power up the keypad. (Should see a flashing yellow LED)
- Change the Master Code
- Disconnect the power to the keypad
- Return the white/yellow, brown and white wires to their original connections if necessary
- Power up the keypad and you will now be able to use the new Master Code to enter programming mode

- Power down the keypad
- Take note of any connections to the white/yellow wire, the brown and white wires and disconnect them if necessary
- Splice together the white/yellow, brown and white wires
- Power up the keypad. (Should see a flashing yellow LED)
- Change the Master Code
- Disconnect the power to the keypad
- Return the white/yellow, brown and white wires to their original connections if necessary
- Power up the keypad and you will now be able to use the new Master Code to enter programming mode
- Power down the keypad
- Take note of any connections to the white/yellow wire, brown and white wires and disconnect them if necessary
- Splice together the white/yellow, brown and Wwite wires
- Power up the keypad. (Should see a flashing yellow LED)
- Change the Master Code
- Disconnect the power to the keypad

- Power up the keypad and you will now be able to use the new Master Code to enter programming mode
- Power down the keypad
- Take note of any connections to the white/yellow wire, brown and blue wires and disconnect them if necessary
- Splice together the white/yellow, brown and blue wires
- Power up the keypad. (Should see a flashing yellow LED)
- Change the Master Code
- Disconnect the power to the keypad
- Return the white/yellow, brown and blue wires to their original connections if necessary
- Power up the keypad and you will now be able to use the new Master Code to enter programming mode
