The basic format for adding or changing a user code is (user number # code * code *) where:
User Number = the number of the user in the list of users held internally by the keypad. Keypads in the 212 and 232 series have the capacity of 120 users. Users are “numbered” from 1 to 120 in the case of a 212 or 232 keypad. Other keypads and controllers may have higher or lower user capacity. For example, the ProxPad can hold 2000 users, and they will be numbered from 1 to 2000.
On all keypads User Number 1 is reserved for the Master User. This user has complete control over programming of the keypad, and this code should be kept secure and not used as a general entry code.
Some keypads may also have User Number 2 reserved for a Supervisor User. This user has the ability to add, change or delete users. This user code should be kept secure and not be used as a general entry code.
# = the pound sign key to the right of the zero key
Code = A 1 to 6-digit number code to be assigned to the user
The yellow LED will be flashing or the sounder will be beeping on those keypads without a yellow LED.

You can add or change more users if necessary without leaving programming mode.
