Press the button on the transmitter from inside the garage and observe the courtesy light on the front of the operator. If the light blinks 5 times, you probably have the "Vacation Mode" switch on the upper right hand corner of the wall station in the locked (down) position. Simply slide the switch to the unlocked (up) position. The remote should work correctly.
If the light still blinks 5 times after you have placed the switch in the unlocked position, you may have a partial short in the wiring to the wall station, a second, lighted push button attached to the operator, or a bad wall station.
