My Wall inlet has a constant red LED, but my vacuum canister has a green LED.

The LED's on the wall inlet are designed for use with the ZX and AVP Series of vacuum. The wall outlet LED's should be disregarded if you use any other series of vacuum.

If you have a ZX or AVP series vacuum and the wall inlet has a green light that means your unit is working fine. If you receive a red light on the wall inlet then you need to have the motor serviced immediately.
