Reason: The installer installed a "prox.pad" which is not compatible with the HMP software, yet has the same wire harness connections and will actually slightly communicate with the software via RS485 which is why this problem is occurring. The installer should have purchased and installed a "prox.pad plus" which IS compatible with the HMP software.
How to identify: The firmware part number of the incompatible "prox.pad" is 2295115 and can be found on the white label on top of the microprocessor. If you see that part number, exchange the controller for a 'prox.pad plus'.
