Set the time and date on an access control panel

Setting the time and date on your access control panel is important because it provides the time-stamp on transactions in the Retained Event Log, and also provides the time basis for Auto Open Time Zones and Validation Groups (access levels).

You must be connected to the panel in order to set the time.

Note: Since the time and date on the panel will be updated from the computer, make sure your computer time and date are correct.

AccessBase & AccessBase2000:

1.  Connect to the network

2.  Click the “Set installation time” button   .  

Note: The time will be set on all nodes (panels) in the installation.

3.  Disconnect from the network if you are finished with programming.

Axnet:

1.  Connect to the network and open the browser.

2.  Click on “Controllers.”

3.  Click on the Controller to be set.

4.  Click Get Controller Time.

5.  Click Sync to Computer.

6.  Close the browser and disconnect if you are finished programming.
