How do I setup my Extended Range Transmitter and Receiver for Status or Supervisory operation?

The Extended Range Transmitter can be set to send a Status signal every hour. If the Extended Range Receiver does not receive a Status signal from the correct transmitter, the receiver will activate the Status output on the receiver after 4 hours.

The Status option is set by Option Switch 5 on the XT-1 transmitter, and Option Switch 3 on the XT-4 transmitter. If the option switch is set to OFF, then the transmitter does not send a Status signal. If the option switch is set to ON, then the transmitter sends a Status signal every hour.

The Status function is turned on in the Extended Range Receiver by setting the correct option switch to the ON position in the Extended Range Receiver. In the XR-1 receiver this would be Option Switch 3. In the XR-4 receiver this would be Option Switches 1, 2, 3, or 4, depending on which channel or channels need to be monitored.

In the XR-16 receiver

this would be Option Switches 1 thru 16, depending on the channel or channels that need to be monitored.

NOTE: The Status function cannot be used when using an Extended Range Hand Held Transmitter.

There is not an option to turn on Status Reporting in these transmitters.
