The output on an Extended Range Receiver can be set to function in one of two ways.
It can be set for manual or auto restoral.
manual restore is used when you want the output of the Extended Range Receiver to follow
the input of the Extended Range Transmitter. This would be a toggle or latch type of
operation.
auto restore is used when you want the output from the Extended Range Receiver to reset
independent of what the input to the Extended Range Transmitter is doing.
This function is set by an option switch in the transmitter. Option switch 6, in the XT-1,
and option switch 4, in the XT-4 determines which mode is used. The off position sets the
receiver for manual restore. The on position sets the receiver for auto restore.
Note: This function is not available when using the Extended Range Hand Held Transmitters.
The output on the receiver will activate for as long as the transmitter button is pressed,
up to 30 seconds. After 30 seconds the transmitter stops transmitting and the output will
de-activate.
