If I upgrade my power head, the hose, or the wand, can I keep my old equipment?

This really depends on several factors: the type of equipment you have, the model that you are currently using, and what you intend to purchase at this time.

If you have a "standard" power head (air only, non-electrical) then replacing the power head, the hose or the wand should not present any problems.  You may find a couple differences between your old and new equipment you purchase, but they should all work together without too much trouble.   Before you make a purchase, however, call our Technical Support group at (800) 421-1587 and ask to speak to one of the vacuum technicians.  They can go over the different options you have and adivise you of what will and won't work together.

If you have an electrically powered brush, then things are a little more complicated.

First, check the model number of your power head. (For instructions on finding the model number for your power head, please see) http://www.linearcorp.com/faq/questions/223/Where+do+I+find+the+model+number+for+my+power+head%3F )

If your power head is anything other than a VM458, and you replace the hose, the wand, or the power head, you must replace all three pieces due to the redesign of the electrical connection between them.

If you have any questions regarding your equipment, please contact us at vacuum@linearcorop.com.
