How do I get a return authorization for my product?

Return authorizations are only given to dealers and/or distributors.  If you are an end-user, then you will need to contact a local dealer and have them contact Linear on your behalf.  To find a dealer in your area, please visit our website at http://www.linearcorp.com/locator/.

You can expedite the process by first contacting our Technical Support group at 1-800-421-1587 (follow the prompts to Technical Services for Intercoms).  Tell the technician you need a ticket number so that you can take your equipment to a local dealer.  Then take the bad hardware and ticket number to your dealer or distributor.  The dealer or distributor will need to call our returns / repairs department at
1-800-421-1587,  option 3 for technical, next menu, option 2 for dealer distributor, next menu 8 for returns.

The returns department will then work with your dealer / distributor on your repair and/or return.

Please understand that your warranty (if sending the product to us under warranty) does not cover the cost of shipping it to our repair department.  You may also be charged a service or labor charge from the dealer.   Since Linear does not have franchises, Linear has no control over what these rates may be.
