When using a keypad only configuration, the keypad needs to be programmed to output a facility code that is unique from any other existing card formats.

eMerge reads the input as any other weigand input, so a card format needs to be assigned and the PIN is assigned in the card data field vs the PIN data field.

In Setup: Access Control: Readers/Keypads - assign the Reader/Keypad Type as "Wiegand Card Reader"
In Setup: Access Control: Card/Keypad Formats - assign a unique format corresponding to the facility code output by the keypad.
In Administration: People: Change: Access Control tab - enter assigned PIN in Encoded # field, apply and save.
