MONITOR & CONTROL VIEW

The Monitor & Control View allows you to view a activites within the network in real time. In addition, you can control the relays in the system, such as lock open or lock closed, from the Monitor & Control View screen. NOTE: You must be connected to the network to utilize this feature. For this tutorial, we will do the following:

Lock open & release the relays.

See what a real time transaction looks like in the monitor & control mode.

1) To go to the Monitor & Control View screen, click on the Monitor & Control View icon

, then click on the nodes in the Network Nodes area that you wish to monitor. If you are not connected to the network, you should do so at this time. The screen should look like this:

2) Click on the doors (relays) in the Doors area that you wish to monitor or control. As you select the doors, notice that an icon representing the doors will appear in the Control box. For this tutorial, we will select the doors in the Office. NOTE: If you have performed these steps in the past, you may not have to select the doors that you wish to monitor.

3) In the control box, click on a door icon and then click Lock Open. You will see a transaction in the Monitor box and the door icon change to indicate that the door is locked open.

4) Click on Unlock and you will see another transaction and the door return to it's normal state.
