BULK LOAD MEDIA

From this screen, you will be able to load in blocks of transmitters and cards. You should receive the transmitters and cards in bulk form, with each card or transmitter being identified with an individual code. For this tutorial, we will do the following:

Load a block of 100 transmitters with a range of 00001 to 00100.

Load a block of 50 cards with a range of 08095 to 08144.

NOTE: You can add Entry Codes and Directory Codes from this screen. It is recommended that you perform these functions from the cardholder screen. If you add Entry Codes and Directory Codes at this time, they will not be assigned to anyone.

1) To learn blocks of transmitters into the system, go to Setup > Media. Click on the Transmitter box. The following screen appears:

2) Click on Add Xmtr Block. The following dialog box appears:

3) Enter the starting and ending numbers for your block of transmitters. You may give the block a descriptive name, such as Phase One. This may help you in your record keeping! Click OK. NOTE: You do not have to add leading zeros to your starting and ending numbers. For example, to add a block starting with 00001, simply enter 1!

4) Perform the same steps for learning in a block of cards.
